SAFEGUARDING
Child protection
and student well-being
At Concordia Bilingual School Paris, child protection is a fundamental principle that underpins our entire educational project. The physical, psychological, and emotional safety of every student is an absolute priority, embedded in all aspects of school life: teaching, pastoral support, daily organisation, and relationships with families. The school is committed to providing a structured, safe, and respectful environment that fosters each child’s well-being and development.
Concordia relies on a dedicated team for student safeguarding and pastoral care, specifically trained to prevent, identify, and address any situation that may affect a child’s well-being or safety. This team works closely with all teaching and educational staff, within a framework of vigilance, prevention, and ongoing support.

A shared and structured responsibility
Student safeguarding is based on a shared responsibility involving all adults working within the school, regardless of their role or status. Every child, without exception, has the right to effective protection, attentive listening, and support tailored to their needs. Any situation that may affect their well-being or safety is handled rigorously, in accordance with the school’s internal procedures and the French regulatory framework. In all circumstances, the best interests of the child come first. Safeguarding measures are regularly reviewed and adjusted to ensure their effectiveness, consistency, and compliance with legal requirements and best educational practices.
