Academic rigor. Personal development. International outlook.
Concordia College is a dynamic, vibrant, and stimulating school whose mission combines strong academic ambition with the development of each student's unique personality and character. Students are encouraged to cultivate their curiosity and creativity, demonstrate critical thinking skills, and develop their individual talents. We offer a bilingual and bicultural program. We follow both the French national curriculum and the International Cambridge Curriculum, preparing students for the French Brevet des Collèges and IGCSEs. The middle school years mark a pivotal stage, a gradual transition from childhood to adolescence. At Concordia, students receive ongoing support from our academic team and personalized guidance from our pastoral team. This nurturing environment allows them to develop the confidence essential for their intellectual, social, and emotional success, and to become thoughtful, resilient, and engaged students.
A bilingual program, an opening to the world
Concordia Middle School offers its students an ambitious program combining French and English cultures, utilizing the most relevant teaching practices from both systems. Our goal is to best support our students in their academic success and prepare them to thrive in a changing, open, and complex world. Students follow a fully integrated French-English bilingual program leading to the Diplôme National du Brevet and the IGCSEs (British Cambridge program).
Academic - Aim High
"Aim High" is one of our five golden rules. Thanks to small class sizes (20 children per class +/- 10%), we ensure close and personalized attention for each student. We champion active learning, particularly through Project-Based Learning (PBL). This approach is based on the completion of concrete, interdisciplinary projects that foster collaboration, autonomy, and problem-solving. Across all subjects—mathematics, sciences, humanities, languages, and arts—the curriculum aims to instill a solid foundation of knowledge, develop in-depth understanding, and cultivate genuine intellectual maturity. Students are encouraged to make connections between disciplines, approach questions from different perspectives, and build a coherent and structured academic foundation. The program thus supports a natural transition to the International Baccalaureate (IB) Diploma at Concordia or, depending on individual profiles, to a fully French or English-language track. The goal is to offer each student a coherent, personalized, and promising educational path.
Skills for the 21st Century
Beyond academic knowledge, Concordia places great importance on the development of soft skills, recognizing that success today depends as much on how one thinks and acts as on acquired knowledge.
A rich and stimulating school life
Daily life is rhythmic and enlivened by a joyful and stimulating energy. At the school, students engage in numerous projects that bring their learning to life and foster a lasting love of learning Throughout the year, they design and lead a variety of initiatives—exhibitions, plays, concerts. They also participate in many projects, both within and outside the school: public speaking competitions, Model United Nations, and mathematics competitions. The House system structures school life and plays a vital role in developing teamwork, leadership, and a sense of belonging. In parallel, the PSHE (Personal Social Health Education) program supports students' personal development, ensures their well-being, and helps them better understand their responsibilities to themselves and others. To make a positive contribution to society
Our students learn to become responsible citizens, ready to commit to causes that matter to them. Through community service projects and fundraising initiatives for charities, students learn that positive impact stems from commitment, generosity, and a sense of responsibility. Whether leading a project within their House, speaking up in a debate, mentoring younger students, or supporting local or international causes, they are encouraged to act with conviction and to measure the real impact of their actions. By cultivating critical thinking, a sense of service, and ethical awareness, Concordia also shapes future engaged and responsible citizens, ready to contribute positively to the world around them. The main principles

They are organised by recognised examination bodies, including Cambridge Assessment International Education, and form the academic basis of the British route before entry into A-Levels or other international programmes.
IGCSEs are widely recognized internationally for their high standards and academic clarity.
