Our History
For nearly 15 years, I worked with entrepreneurs, elected officials, senior civil servants, and academics, all driven by the same desire to transform the world. I, too, wanted to make a tangible contribution by turning a long-held idea into action. Having discovered the immense benefits of a bilingual and bicultural education, having married an Englishman and being the mother of three children raised in a dual French-English culture, I wanted to offer a new educational path that combines the best of the French and English educational systems.
Therefore, I created Concordia School Paris, a school open to the world, fully bilingual, where children naturally develop in two languages as well as within two cultures. A school based on the use of methodologies imported from around the world, allowing children to benefit from the most interesting educational innovations.
"A school meeting the standards of schools in the world's major capitals, right in the heart of Paris."
To achieve this, I invited Harriet Philimore (UK), who had just returned from England and was an expert in both educational systems, and Randi Goring (USA), a former lawyer and polyglot, to join me in creating an international and multidisciplinary team of exceptional French and English teachers, psychologists, and education professionals. We traveled to identify the most innovative teaching methods and exchange ideas with school principals from around the world. We were then able to develop a school project that met our requirements.
Thus, we have developed a unique educational project combining a rigorous academic program following the French and English national education curricula. Our goal is to instill in children a genuine desire to learn, which is the key to achieving the highest academic level; while also developing fundamental transferable skills: creativity, leadership, independence, critical thinking, public speaking, and the ability to work in groups.
A school, finally, to best prepare children to thrive in an open, global and multicultural world.
